[It is what he meant. He believes experiences are not so much healed as they are integrated into the construction of a person, grown around and over. Humans aren't graced with quite the same clarity of memory that angels are, however, so he expects that even the pit will fade with time for all of the Lost.]

Good. Then I trust you've been spending some time outdoors.

There have been sightings of unusual lights floating around Solvunn. Have you noticed the same in the Free Cities?

[Everything is in some way related to the Old Gods, if you ask a Solvunn native.]

The discussion here is much the same. There are many theories, but no one has any proof. I've heard that they are a gift from the old gods, that they are an ill omen from the old gods, that they are a sign of a new god rising, that they have been carried here on the winds from Nocwich... The speculation is limitless.

Some believe they are a warning that Thorne will soon attack. What have they been saying in the Free Cities?

A weapon? That's a first.

[Then again the locals are farmers, so. It's no surprise military tests and weapons of mass destruction aren't on their radar. Maybe it's a possibility the Council is discussing amongst themselves, quietly.]

The lights seem harmless up close, though I haven't seen anyone succeed in catching one. Perhaps they're a distraction from something larger.

Minus the teeth, thus far. I suppose it'd be an ill-advised degree of optimism to believe they're benign.

Life in the Free Cities is otherwise unchanged for you?

Amazing how quickly people adapt and return to the status quo. It's the same in Solvunn. Apart from instituting a conclave for the Summoned, the locals are back to seasonal shrine offerings.
